From fabricating functional prototype parts, to custom automotive installs, to CNC machining of nests and fixtures, our model shop, can meet your needs with the skill and proficiency you desire. We are situated within a state of the art Engineering Center, located in Grand Rapids Michigan.
The experienced in-house resources, at our Engineering Center, have the ability to craft fully functional product displays. We maintain a wide range of skills to complete prototype or preproduction builds, which include various process backgrounds, from the automotive to the furniture industry. We have the capability to execute design work and CNC machining of prototype parts along with fixture and gage builds that utilize a large variety of materials. Our model shop employees are very customer focused to meet your needs.
Our expertise includes automotive stamping dies, aluminum automotive die cast, automotive plastic injection, prototype model making, tool & die, electronics, precision grinding and custom urethane pours. The model shop also has the capability to weld aluminum and tool steel supported by our CNC machining capabilities. We are also maintaining a special process area designed to provide you, our customers, with very specific setups based on their requirements.
Team members working in our model shop were selected to support our very customer focused culture that provides a fast response time and accurate product finalization. Our systems are driving aggressive cost improvements for prototype activities that have resulted in savings to our model shop customers. Our Grand Rapids, Michigan located model shop offers a flexible shift model providing our customers extended support. This model enables us to reduce project timing and provide our customers with product supporting their time lines.
